Volunteer

Stepping up as a A Place to Call Home, I.L.P., volunteer is a tangible way to help those we serve create connections, find faith and re-write legacies. Volunteers help A Place to Call Home, I.L.P., stretch resources and provide better service to the youth we serve.  Examples include:

• Sharing a specific skill (i.e. cooking, carpentry, word processing, balancing a checkbook, etc.)
• Transportation
• Tutoring for student residents
• Advocacy for the A Place to Call Home, I.L.P.
• Assistance with Social Media, Event Coordination, Special Projects, etc.

Partner

Our partners come in all sorts of shapes and sizes to fit the unique needs and interests of our residents as they seek to become independent, productive members of our local community. For example, a local landscaping company may provide an employment opportunity to a resident, while a local banking professional may offer financial counseling to another.

Donate

Our faith-based independent living program is made possible through the generosity of volunteers, program partners, local churches and donors from the Mahoning Valley community and beyond.
